Bringing the Word to Life

MASS SETTINGS

A primary focus of JWP Liturgical Music is that all congregational materials listed here be easily singable for the average parishioner.  If the ultimate goal is to get the people in the pews to lift their voices in song to Christ, then the goal of JWP Liturgical Music is to make that attainable for them, all while keeping the quality of the music itself intact.

CHORAL WORKS

Though JWP Liturgical Music offers a full range of choral works, special attention is paid to our youngest choristers.  Children have the most malleable of minds and it is of vital importance to JWP Liturgical Music to take advantage of this and offer music to our young people that is both fun to sing and musically rich.  It is through our children that the seeds of Faith are sown, growing up to be the future of our great Liturgical traditions.

INSTRUMENTATION

It is the goal of JWP Liturgical Music that each composition offered here have a variety of different instrumentations available to suit the unique needs of each individual parish.  Whether you have a small or large choir, or a team of instrumentalists adding their talents to the liturgy, JWP Liturgical Music provides possibilities that can be seamlessly layered to meet the capability and needs of your own parish.

SPECIAL LITURGIES

JWP Liturgical Music strives to offer materials suited for very specific occasions and which perhaps cannot be found elsewhere.  For example, “I Received” was intended as a song for children to sing after receiving their First Holy Communion.  While there are thousands of hymns written in reverence to the Eucharist, “I Received” was intended as a song expressly for children themselves to sing as their own special prayer of thanksgiving.
